Having had a successful 30 year career in the corporate world you would be forgiven for thinking I had it all. The six figure salary, lovely home, nice car, gorgeous clothes & shoes, overseas holidays, I even had the ex-footballer handsome husband and was on my way to happy every after? Will I lose weight?
The Empowerment Academy is not a diet program where the goal is weight loss. And while all my clients absolutely lose weight without exception they all realize that it is not actually the weight loss that causes the transformation which is my own journey. It is about feeling comfortable in your skin which comes from doing the inner work and focusing on healthy over skinny. Weight loss is the bonus!
Will there be a food plan?
Absolutely not! I am not an advocate of diets or eating plans. I will educate you on good nutrition, what a healthy approach to food looks like, give you examples & you can ask me questions.
How much time do I need per week to do the work?
The modules will take no more than 60 mins to work through sometimes less. However the homework may take up to 30 mins a day. Each module has action steps that are building blocks to create new habits and routines. The course is designed to drip feed you modules once a week with an implementation week after module 5. There is also a group call of roughly 60 mins duration fortnightly which would be ideal if you attended live but not necessary as the recording will be in the group. You will be able to submit questions prior to the call if you cant make it live.
Will I be expected to report in to the group?
Yes. Every module will have one or maybe more accountability threads in the Facebook group. You will be expected to share your experience, support your sisters and be accountable that you are doing the work. Group energy is a powerful motivator!
You make a grand claim that this could change my life. What do you mean?
Changing your mindset, learning to love your body & self, facing & resolving your inner demons will impact every area of your life. From improving relationships, to your career, to finding a partner to opening up new & rewarding opportunities. This is a journey of self-discovery and the more you discover about yourself, the more positive changes are possible!
Do I have to lift weights & be a bodybuilder like you?
NO! I am not a personal trainer for a reason. It is my mindset & lifestyle that has facilitated my transformation. The only prerequisite is exercise of some kind in whatever form that comes in for you. Weightlifting is my chosen exercise. Clearly I highly recommend lifting however walking is enough!
